Today in my post I will be doing a review on a book called Fangirl. This will be in the Fandom section of my blog. There will be lots more in the fandom section, this is just a part of it. I hope you enjoy my review.
Author
Rainbow Rowell
Plot
Cath and Wren are identical twins and until recently they did absolutely everything together. Now they're off to university and Wren's decided she doesn't want to be one half of a pair anymore. It's not so easy for Cath. She would rather bury herself in fanfiction than go dancing and meet boys.
Cath has to decide whether she's ready to open herself to new people and experiences, and Cath has realised there's more to love than she knows.
Review
The start was really enjoyable but as I started to read near the middle, I felt that it was being dragged out and then near the last couple of chapters it was rushed to the end. I wish something exciting happend apart from being drunk and stuff. It does have topics that relate to our society today and that's probably why I enjoyed the book. I wish it did go somewhere in my opinion but I know it's not a book that has all sort of futuristic or magic going on in it. I just wish something exciting happend.
Rating
My rating for Fangirl is 6 out of 10. It lost 4 marks because of the way it was dragged and the rushness to the end and I got bored halfway through the book. If it was made into a movie I don't think it would be very enjoyable because there is nothing in the book for it to become a movie in my opinion.
That's all for today's post. I hope you enjoyed my book review. What did you think of it? Have you ever read Fangirl? If you have what is your opinion on it? If you haven't and have read my review will you read it? Tell me in the comments and I'll see you in my next post!
