Lifestyle: New Years Resolutions

Hey hey and Happy New year. I can't believe it's 2015 already. To me the past couple of years have flew by. Since it's the new year, I wanted to post about resolutions. I'm going to be talking about my resolution and giving you tips on how to pick yours! Just remember not everyone has to have a New Years resoultion. It can be halfway through the year or you don't have to have one at all.
My new year resolution
1. I think my first and main will definitely be to get out of my comfort. I have been told this by my parents numerous times that I have to stop being so afraid of everything. To me this is one of the most important resolutions, because if I don't get out of my comfort zone I'm not going to get anywhere in life (in my opinion). I might miss some wonderful opportunities that I might never get again. For example in April my whole year group may be going on this P.E/ sport trip to a centre where they do all kinds of things like rock climbing and canoeing and ect.  And my first thought when I heard it was I'm going to die. I'm just a negative person that takes everything as a bad thing, but it would actually be a good thing because when will the next time be that you get to have this experience. So my first New Years resolution is to get out of my comfort zone.

2. To be more religious. When I have a problem, I don't like to talk about it to anyone. It's because I don't know how to go to a person and say "Hey, I'm not happy with or I feel lonely because.......". It scares me to go to someone and tell them what's going on in my mind. So if I were to become more religious and become closer to God. I would have someone to talk to whenever and wherever. And I think it would also help with my stress, because I am a very stressful person.

3. Spend more time with my best friends. We do spend time with each other, I just want to try and spend more time with each other. If it's walking together after school or going somewhere after school or spending more time during holidays that would be fine. I just love them so much that I want to spend so much time with them. And also it would help me become an even more happier person.

1. Think about if it will help you in the long run. Say example for my comfort zone resolution that would help me in the long run. Is it a realistic resolution or is it an unrealistic resoultion. No resolution is unrealistic but just ask yourself that question.

2. Don't pick unrealistic targets. For example you want to lose 20 pounds in one month. That is not a realistic goal. You can only lose 2 pounds every week that's less than a kilo a week. First of all if you lost 20 ponds in one month, your body would become very weak because you've put your body under so much pressure to do something really quick and you'll just gain the weight you lost again. So don't set unrealistic targets for your resolution.

3. Think about what has been bothering you about yourself or anything in the past couple of weeks or months. Say example  you haven't been doing good in school lately. You should pick that as one of your resolutions because it will be beneficial on other things. If you start to get your grades up that will help you get into a college and you can get the career you've always wanted. (I'll be doing a post about how to study soon)

4. Have faith in yourself. If you don't believe you can and give up easily it won't work. I'm one of those people who just say I can't immediately without even trying it. It won't help you. Believe in yourself that you can do it. Everyone has the ability to do everything you just got to try.

5. Last but not least.
YES YOU CAN!

That's all for this post! I hope you enjoyed it and it helped you out. Comment what you thought of this post and if you have any posts you want me to do. I'll see you in my next post.
